The beach at Jan Thiel Bay is the beach that is within walking distance of Villas Vista Royal. Jan Thiel is also one of the busiest hotspots on the island. The presence of beach restaurant Zanzibar in particular creates extra buzz in the weekends, since there is almost always live music to be found here. Also at Zest on the beach you can have a nice bite to eat and possibly on Friday night enjoy their "lobster night" (lobster night).
Tip: from the beach at Jan Thiel you can see the sun set beautifully in the sea. This is not possible on every beach in Curacao and on Wednesday night there is live music on the beach by the campfire.
